Vienna’s energy portal brings together energy information and advice. First establish which supplies you pay for yourself: electricity, your own gas boiler or a separate heating bill. A heating bill is not a gas bill and should not be entered in a gas comparison.

Check before you compare

  1. Your address: Use your real postcode and later your supply point details. A town name alone does not establish offer availability.
  2. Correct energy quantity: Use the electricity or gas kWh figure from a full annual bill. For gas, an m³ meter reading is a different measurement.
  3. Full costs: Include energy, grid charges, taxes and levies. Check standing charges and bonus conditions as well as the unit price.
  4. Next year: Check contract duration and price adjustment rules. A one-off bonus says little about costs after the first year.
